Unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in 2004, the Maserati MC12 was originally designed as a homologation car to mark Maserati’s return to racing after 37 years of inactivity. 25 cars were built in 2004 (the number required by the FIA) and a further 25 in 2005, for a total of 50 road-legal cars. This limited production number made these cars far rarer than the Ferrari Enzo, on which they were based. It is no surprise that many experts and collectors consider the Maserati MC12 to be an incredible investment opportunity. The MC12 was only available in the stunning Bianco Fuji colour scheme, with exceptional details such as the highlighted open front light clusters, exquisite pinstriping and coloured centre-locking wheel nuts (red on the left, blue on the right). What makes the MC12 even more special is that it is one of the few hypercars to feature a removable hardtop, allowing for a full, visceral, open-top driving experience, with the savage sound of the V12 exhaust pipe. Overall, the MC12 must be considered one of the greatest and most exclusive hypercars of the modern era.

The example on offer is one of the first 25 MC12s produced, making it a truly spectacular addition to the world’s greatest car collections.
